I had email coming in all day as a result of this wonderful FRONT PAGE article!
Not only did this great story create conversation about the arts, but it also proved to be a catalyst for discussion concerning bans my district has on “social networking” sites (SKYPE, Facebook, etc,)
Katie has had these opportunities and, more importantly, has taken advantage of them in improving teaching and learning for her students’ benefit.
Play, create, explore and innovate – it all starts with Play – an opportunity – and transcends to innovation – a gift with results that are exponential.
Thanks Suzanne for your comments! We have a great opportunity to learn with our students through technology. We are finding that education at the adult level is much greater in some cases… another great opportunity. Isn’t that what a life long learner is all about?
