The College Board AP* Fellows program is an annual competitive grant program that provides scholarships for secondary school teachers planning to teach AP* courses in schools that serve minority and/or low-income students who have been traditionally underrepresented in AP* courses. Each recipient of a 2010 College Board AP* Fellows Scholarship will be offered $1,000 to attend a College Board–endorsed AP* Summer Institute.
AP* Summer Institutes provide an excellent opportunity for teachers to gain command of a specific AP* subject and to receive up-to-date information on the latest curriculum changes. Teachers from around the world come together at these institutes to exchange ideas and information about AP* courses and exams.
