I believe the best part about March is that we get to celebrate students and their accomplishments and day to day work in the art and music classrooms. Youth Art Month and Music in Our Schools Month has been celebrated for a number of years. The Council for Art Education sponsors YAM and their website has a ton of great resources about the importance and value of visual arts education.
MIOSM is sponsored by MENC and on their website they have a ton of great resources for you.
