Sanford Band under the direction of Matt Doiron represented Maine in President Obama's inauguration parade
The Governor’s office is looking for marching bands to represent Maine in the 2012 National Independence Day Parade in Washington D.C. This is a “televised, world-class parade, which features military and veterans units marching band representation from around the country, impressive floats, and many other speciality groups, takes place annually on Constitution Ave. along the National Mall, and commemorates our country’s rich, patriotic heritage.”
