I had the pleasure earlier this week to hear the Bangor Children’s Choir perform the National Anthem at the opening of the legislative session at the State House in Augusta for Arts Education Day. If you’ve never had the opportunity to take your students to perform at the legislature, I highly recommend that you contact your school districts House of Representative and provide the opportunity for your students – chorus or band. The Bangor Children’s Choir has a new artistic director, Robert Ludwig who kindly sent me the link to the article (and video) in the Bangor Daily News.
