The purpose of this blog is to share stories about people and places; and to celebrate the amazing work (and play) that students, educators, and organizations are doing in and for arts education. In addition, the blog has a plethora of resources and innovative ideas. This forum gives blog readers the opportunity to learn from each other. It is essential that we listen, learn, and collaborate in order to build on teaching practices for the benefit of every learner in Maine and beyond.

Funny…about a month ago, I decided I wanted to do the same and pretty much taught myself… I can play a few modern songs, but enjoy songs like Polka Dots and Moonbeams…Dream a Little Dream of Me…3 Little Birds…

Thanks for the ukulele tips, I will be sure to check them out. I don’t have any suggestions Len for someone to play Theresa Vaughn however, if you write up two or three sentences with the details I’d be glad to include the information in the Tuesday morning email to the list-serv.
That is so cool! I am impressed. I am wondering how many others in our field of arts educators have recently taking up the ukulele? It would be fun to know. Looking forward to making arrangements for my lessons. I need the discipline of lessons to make the time.
