Grant Wiggins
Sadly, well respected educator and author Grant Wiggins died on Tuesday at the of 64. Grant worked side by side with Jay McTighe to write Understanding by Design, a book that many educators use to “focus on learning goals and create curriculum that drives toward the desired outcomes”. He inspired many educators to shift their thinking.
