Design of the park in NYC
Joshua David and Robert Hammond designed High Line Park but in a recent interview with Robert, M School of Art and Design senior Shali Das learned that he hopes that New Yorkers feel the ownership of the park.
When Robert was a child his mother gave him a book about Christo and Jean Claude’s about The Running Fence project that was created in Sonoma and Marin Counties, California, 1972-76. That left a lasting impression on him.
