Van Gogh Shadow is a short film by Luca Agnani that shows Van Gogh paintings coming to life. He used various Digital lighting, 3D and Visual Mapping techniques to create this cool and creative video of Van Gogh paintings. I’ve always been a Van Gogh fan and admired his work so I found this video fascinating and enjoyable to watch. Wonderful resource/example to share with your students.
Out of site for years
Imagine wondering about paintings, if they are real or fake. For years a Van Gogh titled “Sunset at Montmajour” was considered a fake. Now, that it has been determined to be an original and created during Van Gogh’s prolific period it is worth a figure that isn’t really stated. Wonderful tribute
This 60 Minutes segment on Vincent van Gogh and his paintings is wonderful. It is well worth the few minutes it will take to watch and listen.
