Upcoming RPC’s are in Hancock County, Washington County, Aroostook County and the York region. This is an opportunity for dance, music, theater and visual arts teachers to learn more about many important topics impacting arts educators. I have been glad to have the opportunity to share information and to hear concerns of arts teachers. The most worthwhile part has been for teachers to share lessons and units with each other.

Thanks for your question Audrey! The York meeting is being planned for April 2nd. The details are still being worked out. Danette Kerrigan will be sending York arts teachers an invitation so you will know more details.

The regional meetings took place during the last school year. I could send you the list of mid-coast arts teachers who attended. At this point they do not have plans to meet but I am sure if someone like yourself would like to step up and lead the group they’d be grateful and would be interested in participating. I can share information with you on how the other regional groups in the state are progressing.
