Our school district, especially our elementary art department has always taken this opportunity to exhibit children’s art in a museum setting. Organizers of Youth Art Month, MAEA and Portland Museum made it possible in creating an “academy awards” like atmosphere. Tory Tyler-Millar, Manon Lewis, Sandy Brennan, Stacy Rodenberger to name a few of the organizers that make this happen every year. I am very appreciative for their hard work and support to help make this happen!
